Virtual and augmented reality has been pointed by Keith Stuart and Jordan Erica Webber, in an article published by The Guardian, as one of the 16 trends that are going to mark the video games development in the future.

As they say in the article, the expectations on virtual and augmented reality are that they will become commercial realities related to video games.

Virtual reality becomes as a mass consumer phenomenon, Sony’s Dave Ranyard said during his Develop panel discussion what was dedicated the most of the time to sessions concerning the development of VR games.
